Annie Sauls Burke

Annie Elizabeth Sauls Burke, 80, died Monday, April 9, 2007 at Hospice Savannah. She was a native of Hardeeville, South Carolina and was retired from Globe Shoe Company in downtown Savannah. She was a communicant of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Burke and one son, Thomas J. Burke, Jr.

She is survived by one son; James Lynch, of Lansing, Kansas and five grandchildren; Tonya Dibert, of Pennsylvania, Malynda Emerson, of San Antonio, Texas, Robert Lynch, of Pennsylvania, James Lynch, of Ridgeland, South Carolina, and Alicia Lynch, of South Carolina. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the Islands Chapel of Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Bonaventure Cemetery.
